A week ago, I went to watch the San Francisco Company's edition of Wicked. I was pleasantly un-surprised by how impressed I was by the musical. Although the rave reviews I'd heard from friends gave me high expectations to look forward to the musical with, it did not cause Wicked to be too much of a dissappointment to me. The show was everything I was expecting from a musical, but it actually lacked in some areas in it's translation from novel to musical.

I was lucky enough to catch the appearances Teal Wicks (Elphaba) and Kendra Kassebaum (Galinda) before their departures from the musical in Febuary of next year.

Here's my take on the musical under the cut. Also, watch out for major book and musical spoilers =) And be aware of the fact that I'm going to sound ridiculously hypocritical for praising, then criticizing the production.

I was looking for some animations for the movie one day, and it was ridiculously time consuming so I decided to just do them myself and have an entire movie compiled into one post so I wouldn't have look around for them. (I realize now that it was also a lot of time to do this, oops. Ah, well...). Yeah, so I decided to share my favorite scenes from the movie.
